The Mason-Dixon Brass Band was formed in March of 2007 originally as The 11th Pennsylvania Regiment Brass Band from Westmoreland County, PA. The band changed it's name after becoming part of The Mason-Dixon Regiment later that year.
Our band portrays both union and confederate brass bands of the American Civil War era in grand style with authentic 19th century instruments and musical selections from the period.
We perform "living history" presentations along with The Regiment as well as participate in parades and concerts for the general public.
