It's hard to believe but another year has come and gone. As we approach the upcoming reenactment season, we have renewed enthusiasm that the Mason-Dixon Regiment will have a banner year. The unit is growing by leaps and bounds and exciting new additions are forthcoming. We begin 2010 with a new panel of officers, including Barry Harvey as president and Debbie Dull as secretary-treasurer. We feel confident that Barry and Debbie will do an outstanding job leading the regiment through it's administrative affairs. Commander Friedly has already confirmed three Gettysburg Campground weekend events this coming summer along with a host of other events. We will attend the major battle reenactments including New Market, Gettysburg, Cedar Creek, and etc. Lt. Friedly will soon release his "state of the unit" yearly report, so stay tuned and enjoy another great reenactment season with the Mason-Dixon Regiment.
A promotion was in the works during our first drill weekend of 2009. Musician Bret Albaugh was promoted to Musician Corporal on Saturday, April 25th. Bret is one of two remaining founding members of the band and has demonstrated leadership qualities that will make him an outstanding non-commissioned officer. He graciously accepted the promotion and thanked the command staff.
Great News!
Our new Sibley tent has arrived! The tent will be utilized to showcase our civilian wares and children's activities. Make sure you stop by one of our reenactments and check out the display.

Thanks to Don and Becky Becker, The Mason-Dixon Regiment now has an official banner to be proudly displayed during our functions. Skillfully hand-crafted by Becky, the banner will provide great inspiration to the entire Regiment as an example of the dedicated and talented folks in our midst.
