Officially mustered into service in September of 2007 and commanded by Lieutenant Chuck Friedly, The Mason-Dixon Regiment is a family oriented "living history" group dedicated to the research and portrayal of military and civilian life in both union and confederate states during the American Civil War from 1861-1865.
In our "living history" campsites, you will find infantrymen, medical staff, civilians and musicians interacting with each other much as they would have during the period.
The Regiment conducts educational programs for schools, historical societies as well as the general public and is proud to represent Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania as one of the few groups of its kind.
